Frequently Asked Questions
Is this boat insured, and who pays for damage?
Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. You're only responsible for damage it doesn't cover, and that's capped at the security deposit.
How much will fuel cost?
Fuel isn't included — you return the tank full. This boat's ~175 HP engine burn roughly 14 L/h while motoring, so a typical week (about 3 h a day, ~21 h) works out to roughly 294 L ≈ €550 at €1.87/L — scale it to your own plans.
Do I need a sailing licence in Croatia?
At least one crew member must hold a recognised sailing licence (ICC or national equivalent) plus a VHF/SRC radio operator certificate, both checked on arrival.
Is the crew included and what's covered?
Yes, the price includes the crew, your cruise, and fuel for up to four hours of navigation each day. Beyond that, extra fuel is charged per hour.
Is there a meal plan?
A half-board meal plan is mandatory at a fixed price per person. Children under three eat free, and those aged three to ten get a 50% discount.
What water sports are included?
Water sports that don't use fuel are included. Fuel-powered water toys are available at an hourly rate.
What isn't included in the price?
Transfers, national park entrance fees, tourist tax, port and marina fees, anchorages, drinks, crew tips and personal expenses are not included.
