For Guests
How do I book a boat?
Browse boats by location, date, and number of guests. Select your preferred boat, choose your dates, and complete the booking. You'll receive a confirmation email with all the details.
What is the cancellation policy?
All bookings include a 24-hour grace period. Cancel within 24 hours for a full refund of the charter price — only the service fee is non-refundable. After 24 hours, the booking becomes permanent and is non-refundable.
Do I need a boating license?
Requirements vary by location and boat type. Many charters include a captain. If you plan to operate the boat yourself, check local regulations and the boat listing for specific requirements.
How do payments work?
We use Stripe for secure payments. Your card is charged when the booking is confirmed. Funds are held securely and released to the boat owner after your charter.
For Boat Owners
How do I list my boat?
Sign up for an account, then click "List Your Boat" to start our 6-step wizard. You'll add boat details, photos, pricing, and amenities. Once published, your boat will be visible to guests.
How does calendar sync work?
Import calendars from other platforms (Click&Boat, GetMyBoat, Google Calendar) via iCal URLs. We also provide an export URL for other platforms to subscribe to. This keeps all your bookings in sync automatically.
What are the fees?
Charter Boats charges a 15% service fee on each booking. This covers payment processing, platform maintenance, customer support, and insurance facilitation. Guests pay a separate service fee.
When do I get paid?
Payments for MMK/Nausys bookings respect the operator's terms. Payments for direct boats are released 24 hours after the charter begins. Funds are transferred to your connected account. Set up payouts in Dashboard > Settings > Payments.
