The owner dashboard is the boat rental management software that comes with every listing on charter.boats: one place for your bookings, your availability, your prices and your payouts. Most owners live in two screens, Bookings and Boats, and touch Settings once when they connect payouts and calendars. Here is what each one does and where to find it.
Bookings
Bookings, at charter.boats/dashboard/bookings, is where every reservation lands. You can narrow the list to Reservations, Bookings, Waiting options, Upcoming, Completed or Canceled, or see them all.
The same page carries your earnings at a glance: your total, this month, last month, the payouts still pending, and a chart of the last six months.
Booking Modes
How a booking reaches you depends on the booking mode you pick for each boat. There are three: Disabled, which takes the boat out of booking; Approval Needed, where you review each request before the guest can pay; and Instant Booking, where a guest who picks free dates books and pays straight away.
With Approval Needed, open the request and use Review & Accept. That is also where you can adjust the price, the fees or the dates before you accept, and send them to the guest as a special offer. Once you accept, the guest is emailed to pay.
Availability
Availability lives on the Boats page, which switches between a Calendar view and a Pricing view. To block dates for maintenance, your own use or a booking taken elsewhere, click the date cells on the calendar and block them.
If the boat is connected to MMK or Nausys, a block you set here also places a hold on that system, so the dates close everywhere at once. Bookings from other platforms can arrive on their own through calendar sync, which our calendar sync guide walks through.
Prices
Prices are set as price periods: date ranges, each with its price, that repeat every year. You edit them in the Pricing view. A guest's charter price for any week is read from the period it falls in, so if a week shows no price, it is because no period covers it.
If your boat is priced through MMK or Nausys, its prices are synced from there and shown read-only here: change them in that system and they flow through.
Fees such as cleaning or a skipper sit beside the prices on each boat, and how guests see them is explained in Fees & Pricing.
Payouts
Payouts depend on how the booking was made. For bookings you take directly, the money is paid out the day after the charter starts, to your Stripe Connect account. Bookings where the guest pays a deposit first and the balance later are paid out once the balance is in. Bookings that run through MMK or Nausys follow that partner's payment plan instead.
To connect your account, go to Settings and then Payments.
Settings
Settings has six tabs. General holds your notifications and preferences. Company holds your company details. Integrations is where calendar sync lives, both importing calendars from other platforms and exporting yours. Payments connects Stripe for payouts. API Access issues keys if you want to connect your own tools, and Search Widget gives you a booking search box for your own website.
As your booking rental software, the dashboard is built so that the boring parts run themselves: calendars sync, partner holds are placed for you, and payouts are scheduled without you chasing anyone. What it needs from you is accurate price periods, a booking mode you are comfortable with, and a connected payout account. Get those three right and the rest of the season is mostly answering guests.
