About this boat

Cabin cruise through the Seychelles on board a comfortable catamaran

• 8 days / 7 nights (Mahé - St. Anne - Praslin - La Digue - Coco - Curieuse - Praslin - Cousin - St.Anne/Mahé)
• Full board inclusive
• Start day: Saturday
• Check-In and Check-Out: Mahé
Your boat:
You will sail onboard a gorgeous catamaran that provides you with comfort and stability.

Everything is prepared to greet a maximum of 12 - 24 guests onboard (+ Crew, which is made up of 2 - 4 people). The skipper is responsible for manoeuvring the yacht.
The cook will take care of preparing your meals and clearing the table before and after meals.
On the largest yacht, there is also a technician/deckhand to assist the skipper in daily tasks, as well as a hostess; she is your contact person for any questions about life on board.
Please keep in mind that cabins and bathrooms are not cleaned by the crew during your cruise.

Provisions:
The meals will be held together, predominantly in the cockpit. Drinks on board (included in charge): during the whole day table water, coffee, and tea.
Drinks package on request € 145 p.P. payable with contract: during breakfast: additional juice, during meals: table wine or 0,5l beer, one local rum-based aperitif, soft drinks, fruit juice.
You can buy additional drinks on board. You may at any time victual yourself further to your liking. We also do not mind if you bring additional beer or other alcoholic drinks on board.
The menu can vary depending on the choice of the local markets as well as the results of the fishing.

Your Yacht and Crew:
The sailing cruises are held on catamarans with 4 to 12 guest cabins and with a crew of 2-4 people. Each guest cabin possesses an “ensuite” bathroom (shower/ WC).
Your catamaran has a saloon (“living room”) with an integrated kitchen, as well as a cockpit which is protected from wind and strong sun. Most of the interactive life on board will take place in the cockpit.

The catamarans are equipped with the maximum safety equipment according to the regulations of the respective country (tracking system, life rafts, life vests, etc.).

The captain is very experienced and knows the local area and the boat extremely well.
He will point out places of interest, bring you closer to the country and the locals, and will show you the most beautiful bathing and snorkel areas in the whole of the Seychelles.
You will swim and snorkel in turquoise blue water, or relax on white beaches while the cook may be already preparing some fish or steaks.

The cabin:
Our catamarans have up to 12 guest cabins with a wardrobe, reading lights, a fan, a window and showers/ WC with a basin. Please keep in mind that water on board is limited.
However, the store is large enough to ensure two showers per day for every guest.
In any case, your captain will remind you to be diligent with the freshwater on board.

The luggage:
The yachts are comfortable, yet the space in the cabins is limited. Therefore we would advise you to leave your hard suitcase at home and to use a duffel bag instead, for they are way easier to store.
If you would like to use a hard suitcase anyway, we will allocate you a place to keep it.

Children:
Children over the age of 12 years may take part in cabin cruises. One child will share a cabin with one adult.

Worth knowing about the cabin cruise:
It is necessary to get a valid passport to clear inward in the different islands. (People with non-EU citizenship please contact us).

Before embarkation, each guest has to pay the "board cash" including entrance fees for marina parks and isles, port and customs charges, water, etc.
Please refer to the current price list to know the amount of the "board cash".
During the cruise, the guests usually reward the service of the crew with a tip of € 5 - 7 per passenger per day.

The first evening is dedicated to getting to know other guests and to settling in. Keep in mind, that the guests arrive on different flights and therefore board the boat at various times.
However, we cannot be held responsible if the passenger arrives late due to delayed/cancelled flights. Please be at the meeting point the latest 30 minutes before check-in.

Even if your skin is used to the sun: note that on a boat the sun radiation is more intense than on land. You will always feel a nice breeze when you are on the boat, therefore the strong sun is often felt too late.
Thus, it is even more important to be prepared, for it is very easy to get sunburned or even get sunstroke if you do not protect yourself from the sun. A sun hat which does not fly off with the first gust of wind is very important.
Do not forget your sunglasses either, which are best to be fixed with a string around your neck. A sweatshirt too is advisable, or a shirt with long sleeves combined with long trousers.
For the first few days, sun cream with a high sun protection factor should be used.

If you take in medicine: remember to take enough of it with you from home. On the islands, it would be rather difficult to find comparable pharmaceuticals.
There are no laws that enforce you to get any vaccines for the islands you are going to visit.
Seasickness: catamarans sail in a very stable way and are generally straight. Your captain too will try his best to only pass through calm waters.
However, it is in the nature of sailing that waves do occur. If you are likely to get seasick, you can discuss with your pharmacist which medicines are the best to take with you for this case.

Sailing manoeuvres and life on board:
To attend one of our cabin cruises, no prior knowledge about sailing and the handling of a boat is expected. One does not have to be sporty to take part in this cruise and to get to know the beautiful islands in this way.
The captain is capable of handling the yacht completely on his own. However, you have the chance to learn something about sailing, even though it is not a trip organized for this purpose.
Your active participation in life on board is appreciated. Please remember that this is a sailing trip on a catamaran, not on a cruise ship with a large crew. Life on board is interactive.
Depending on the wind and weather during your cabin cruise, you may drive a section under engines. That means that the anchoring place will be reached by the engines and that the sails cannot be hoisted.

Mobile and Wifi onboard:
Usually, there is reception during the cruise, however, this may not always be the case.
You should contact your mobile provider prior to departure to inform yourself whether your sim card is unlocked for the region and about any roaming charges that may apply as there is no Wifi / Internet available on board.
You can also purchase a Wifi- or Simcard on spot.
You can charge your mobile, photo camera, etc. in the receptacle USB / 220V Plug in the saloon (Navigation). Please do not leave your valuables unattended overnight.

Safety regulation:
It is strictly forbidden to carry weapons or drugs on board.
Please note that the yacht may cross various borders and that therefore the coastguard searches yachts in the fight against drugs now and again.
The captain has the right at any time to dismiss people from the boat who do not respect the instructions of visiting countries, carry weapons or drugs, disturb the life on board in any way,
or put the crew, the guests or the yacht under any kind of danger.
The captain in such a case is obliged to inform the appropriate public authorities. In such a case, or if the guest wishes to leave the boat, no travelling expenses will be refunded.

Private cruises, group bookings and incentive cabin cruises:
You may use the same offer for a private journey, including friends and family only, your group or incentive charter. In this case, no other guests would be attending.
For more information and a personal quote of such a group sailing charter please contact your tour operator.

Environmental levy Seychelles 01.08.2023
According to the press release dated 13.07.2023 from the Seychelles Ministry of Finance, from 01.08.2023 all visitors to Seychelles will be charged a new environmental tax.
Depending on the size of the hotel or type of accommodation, the following charges apply and must be paid locally by the guest in cash:
- "Small Tourist Accommodation": with 1 to 24 rooms 25 Seychelles Rupees (currently ca. €2) per person per night.
- "Medium tourist accommodation": with 25 to 50 rooms 75 Seychelles rupees (currently ca. €5) per person per night
- "Large tourist accommodation": with more than 50 rooms, yachts and island resorts 100 Seychelles rupees (currently ca. €7) per person per night
Island resorts refer to establishments located on an island other than Mahe, Praslin, La Digue or Cerf Island and as defined in the Tourism Development Act 2019.
Children under 12 years of age are exempt from this regulation.
Entry Requirements for Seychelles:

Before entering Seychelles, travelers should take note of the following:
Electronic Travel Authorization (TA): All travelers must apply for an electronic travel authorization via the official border control system of Seychelles before departure. This authorization can only be applied for within 30 days before the trip at https://seychelles.govtas.com. A valid passport, proof of accommodation and return flight, and a fee of 10 EUR are required for the application.
Please note that entry requirements may change. It is recommended to regularly check the latest official guidelines.
24.09.2025 MS

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this boat insured, and who pays for damage?
Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. You're only responsible for damage it doesn't cover, and that's capped at the security deposit. Operator terms: Owner provides comprehensive insurance covering damage to boat, accessories, total theft, hijacking, partial theft, and engine. Insurance also covers civil liability for third party claims.
Do I need a sailing licence in Seychelles?
A recognised sailing licence such as an ICC or IYT qualification is required, together with an adequate sailing résumé.
Can I sail at night?
In the Caribbean, the Seychelles and Polynesia, night sailing is strictly forbidden unless we give you a special written waiver. Please ask us in advance if your plans involve sailing after dark in these areas.
Will my sailing experience be checked before I take the boat?
Yes. We may decline to hand over the boat if the skipper or crew don't appear to have enough competence, regardless of any certificates shown. If that happens you can either pay for a professional skipper or cancel, so it's best to be honest about your experience when booking.
Are there things I'm not allowed to use the boat for?
The boat is for pleasure sailing only. Commercial use, professional fishing, transport, regattas, and subletting or lending the boat are all prohibited, and you agree to carry only the authorised number of people on board.
What should I do if there's serious damage while I'm sailing?
For serious damage such as dismasting, leaking or fire, contact us and the insurance broker urgently and wait for instructions. For minor wear-and-tear repairs you can act on your own up to 10% of the security deposit and we'll reimburse you on return with the invoice, but anything larger needs our approval first.
What condition should the boat be in when I bring it back?
Please return the boat and its equipment clean and in good working order at the agreed port. The cleaning and inventory check are part of your rental period, and if the boat isn't returned properly cleaned the cleaning cost will be charged to you.
When is the best time to sail in Seychelles?
Year-round; the calmer northwest-monsoon season runs October–April and the breezier southeast trades April–October.
