Longyearbyen's marina sits at 78° North, making it one of the world's most remote ports and the main hub for everything moving in and out of Spitsbergen — cargo, cruise ships, and expedition vessels alike. The setting is raw and dramatic, with arctic tundra, glaciers, and polar bear territory practically on the doorstep. From here you can arrange excursions into the surrounding wilderness or resupply before heading deeper into the Svalbard archipelago.
