Twin Gate

Dvojna vrata, or Porta Gemina, is a remarkably well-preserved Roman double-arched city gate right in the heart of Pula, built in the late 2nd century. It's one of ten original gates that once encircled the ancient city, and today it marks the start of a route leading up to the Archaeological Museum, the hilltop Castle, and a small Roman theatre. Walking through it genuinely feels like stepping through layers of history — and most people just stroll past without realising what they're looking at.
