Post and Telecommunications Office

The Office des Postes et Télécommunications (OPT) is French Polynesia's government-run postal and financial hub, handling everything from mail to money under one roof at the Hôtel des Postes in central Papeete. Unlike a typical bank, OPT runs one of the island's main ATM networks, dispensing CFP francs reliably — useful when private banks are closed or lines are long.
