Mirto Palace Museum

Palazzo Mirto is one of Palermo's best-kept secrets — a fully intact aristocratic palace where you can wander through lavishly decorated rooms exactly as noble families left them, from frescoed ceilings to ornate furniture and works attributed to Velázquez. It feels less like a museum and more like the owners just stepped out. Head there on the first Sunday of the month and entry is free.
