About this boat

The Jeanneau NC 37 embodies a different philosophy, focused on life at sea on a single level, as if it were a "terrace on the sea." It is an Inboard Cabin Cruiser designed for maximum cruising comfort. Its main strength is the complete continuity between the cockpit and the saloon, achieved by a huge sliding glass door and window that open fully, creating one large living space. It offers two spacious and comfortable cabins (the source suggests $2$ to $3$ cabins, the original text states $3$ so I'll include the nuance), with sea views and ample storage space. This space can also be used as a third cabin with a double berth, a separate shower stall, and a completely separate head (toilet). The saloon dinette is convertible, bringing the nighttime capacity up to 6 people. The galley is central in the saloon, opens toward the exterior, and is well-equipped. The cockpit is modular, with a sliding bench seat that converts into a sunpad. Aft, it offers a large, recessed, and safe sunpad. The NC 37 is a modern and luxurious cruising boat, designed for those who want to live aboard with maximum harmony between interior and exterior spaces, in absolute comfort and safety. Frequently Asked Questions

Is this boat insured, and who pays for damage?
Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. You're only responsible for damage it doesn't cover, and that's capped at the security deposit.
How much will fuel cost?
Fuel isn't included, and on a powerboat it's the biggest variable cost. At a typical planing cruise this boat's 270 HP engine burn roughly 41 L/h — about €80 an hour at €1.95/L. It depends heavily on speed: easing off the throttle cuts it sharply, running flat out raises it. Plan your fuel around the hours and speed you expect to cruise.
Do I need a sailing licence in Italy?
The skipper needs a valid sailing licence and VHF certificate, ideally issued by their country of residence (an ICC is widely accepted).
Can anyone charter the boat without a skipper?
Bareboat charters without a skipper are offered to experienced sailors only. If you would like to sail unaccompanied, we will expect you to demonstrate the relevant experience.
