About this boat

The Lagoon 380 is a liveaboard catamaran built by the Lagoon shipyard in France. It was designed by the shipbuilding engineer VPLP. Production began in 1999 and ended in 2008. Popular with sailing enthusiasts, the Lagoon 380 is a high-performance, comfortable sailing yacht. Outside, the spacious gangway lets you relax and enjoy the sun and sea breeze. Inside, the saloon and fully-equipped galley boast large windows and a superb 360-degree panoramic view! Like its predecessors, the Lagoon 380 bears the Lagoon logo: reliable, innovative, fast and easy to handle. In short, a very enjoyable cruising catamaran! Featuring all the assets that have made Lagoon multihulls so successful, this 380 series is ideal for small crews. Its simple deck plan meets all the criteria for the most pleasant life on a boat, and it can be moved easily and safely thanks to the fairly wide side hatches and the sturdy track on the trampoline. The cleverly optimized aft deck provides easy access to the sea and auxiliary vessels, inviting rowers to enjoy swimming, anchoring and docking. In keeping with the elegance of the ship as a whole, the cockpit also benefits from the distinctive chiadé design. It's practically in the same row as the outside saloon. The pleasant coffee table and U-shaped seating create a cheerful space. Under the Mini island. Its raised cockpit, including a bench seat, offers a perfect view of the horizon, but above all, the helmsman has easy access to navigation instruments, sails and almost the entire deck. What's more, the cockpit leads directly to the chart table and galley. The latter is bright and practical, an amazing link between the helm station and the circular saloon, enhanced by a beautiful oval table and a semi-circular deckhouse containing ten portholes, two of which are open. With its X.Faÿ interior, the cabin of this Lagoon 380 is also a veritable cocoon, illuminated by large glass hulls. Each cabin is equipped with a double bed and numerous storage compartments made from Alpine reclaimed wood, providing a pleasant place to rest and protect the occupants' privacy. To ensure maximum comfort and peace of mind for cruise ship passengers, VPLP's designers took care to keep the engine compartment away from the catamaran's living space.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this boat insured, and who pays for damage?
Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. You're only responsible for damage it doesn't cover, and that's capped at the security deposit.
How much will fuel cost?
Fuel isn't included — you return the tank full. This boat's ~54 HP engines burn roughly 4.3 L/h while motoring, so a typical week (about 3 h a day, ~21 h) works out to roughly 90 L ≈ €158 at €1.75/L — scale it to your own plans. Many skippers run one engine on passage to roughly halve fuel use — ask your operator if that’s fine for your boat.
