About this boat

Lagoon 560 DADDY'S HOBBY is one of the success stories of Lagoon, with an ideal layout which can comfortably accommodate up to 8 guests in 1 spacious Master cabin which incorporates a work-station and 3 VIP double cabins, all with ensuite facilities. She is a fully crewed catamaran, offered with a Crew of 3 - Captain, Cook and Stewart, accommodated in separate quarters. She is a beautiful owner-version yacht with ample space, teak deck and a panoramic flybridge. She has been undergoing constant refits since 2021, to assure that she has up-to-date equipment offering safety, comfort and luxury, such as gelcoat refit, equipment replacements, interior & teak upgrades (2024). Moreover, the installation of two brand new Yanmar 110hp engines was completed in June 2024. But most importantly, she is run by a very experienced, competent and professional crew, who know how to offer superior service to the guests. She sets sail from her base port in Olympic Marine. Alternative Embarkation points are possible - Upon request, at a fee.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this boat insured, and who pays for damage?
Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. You're only responsible for damage it doesn't cover, and that's capped at the security deposit.
How much will fuel cost?
Fuel isn't included — you return the tank full. This boat's ~150 HP engines burn roughly 12 L/h while motoring, so a typical week (about 3 h a day, ~21 h) works out to roughly 252 L ≈ €491 at €1.95/L — scale it to your own plans. Many skippers run one engine on passage to roughly halve fuel use — ask your operator if that’s fine for your boat.
Do I need a sailing licence in Greece?
Two crew with proof of competence are required — a skipper holding an ICC or national equivalent and a co-skipper who signs a declaration of sailing experience.
Is end cleaning included?
End cleaning is obligatory and paid in cash when you board. It covers the yacht's cleaning, spare cooking gas, blankets, pillows, pillowcases, bed linen, and one set of towels per person for the trip.
What condition should the boat be in when I return it?
You receive the yacht with full fuel and water tanks (for both the yacht and the dinghy), and you should hand it back the same way, with the tanks topped up.
Can I hire a skipper or hostess?
Yes. We can arrange optional extras such as a local skipper, hostess, or a SUP on request, subject to availability. These are paid in cash at the base.
What if something goes wrong while we're out sailing?
You're covered by our 24-hour emergency service throughout your charter, so help is just a call away if you run into trouble at sea.
Are port fees covered?
Port fees for your embarkation and disembarkation day at the home base are included. Any port fees at other marinas during your trip are paid by you.
About Olympic Marine
You'll find Olympic Marina positioned on the eastern Attica peninsula, just 20 minutes from Athens International Airport and about a nautical mile south of Lavrio port. Read more →
