Port Charles Ornano — also called Port de l'Amirauté — sits right at the entrance to Ajaccio, making it your gateway into the Corsican capital. It's a well-run, welcoming spot with around 850 berths, qualified staff, and a solid cluster of sailing-focused shops and chandleries on-site. The harbor office is open daily 7:00–21:00 and monitors VHF Channel 9, so getting in and sorted is straightforward. From here, Ajaccio's old town, Napoleon's birthplace, and the waterfront cafés are all within easy walking distance.
