Syki Beach
Syki Beach sits on the northern Pelion coast, about 37 km from Volos, with open views across the north Aegean where you can drop anchor and swim in clean, clear water. The village behind the beach is tiny — around 400 people — and just inland you'll find the striking Monastery of Timios Prodromos, built in 1795 by the renowned Epirote master builder Dimos Zoupaniotis. It's a quiet, unhurried spot with a real sense of being away from it all, despite being one of the closest Aegean anchorages to Volos.
