Alinda

Alinda is a charming coastal settlement on the northeast shore of Leros, where you can drop anchor in a calm, sheltered bay backed by a sandy beach and a scattering of low-key tavernas and cafés along the waterfront. The village has a relaxed, unhurried feel, and the beach at Alinda is one of the longest on the island, making it well worth a swim ashore. It's also close to the island's capital, Platanos, and the impressive medieval Castle of Leros, so there's plenty to explore if you head inland.
