Alonissos Marina

Alonissos marina sits right on the doorstep of the Mediterranean's largest marine protected area, the National Marine Park of Alonissos and Northern Sporades — a rare thing that shapes everything about being here. From this base you can head out to remote islands like Kyra Panagia, snorkel untouched spots, explore underwater shipwrecks, and visit an ancient clifftop monastery. The water here is genuinely some of the clearest in Greece, protected partly because the park shelters the endangered Mediterranean monk seal alongside remarkable marine biodiversity. It's a quieter, wilder corner of the Sporades that rewards the curious.
