Lakki Anchorage

Lakki sits in one of the largest natural harbors in the Aegean, a deep, sheltered bay that practically eliminates swell even in rough conditions — drop the hook here and you'll sleep well. The town itself carries a striking legacy of Italian Art Deco architecture from the fascist-era occupation, giving the waterfront an unexpectedly grand, slightly eerie atmosphere unlike anything else in the Dodecanese. From the anchorage you're a short walk from tavernas, a small market, and the rest of Leros island beyond.
