Sant'Ambroggio Anchorage

Tucked into the Balagne coastline halfway between Calvi and Île-Rousse, this anchorage gives you stunning views of Calvi's historic citadel perched on its rocky promontory. During the season, the bay is managed with mooring buoys rather than free anchoring, so come prepared to pick one up. The rugged shoreline is blanketed in dense Mediterranean scrub, giving the whole spot a wild, unspoiled feel despite its proximity to Calvi.
