Cavtat Anchorage

Drop anchor in the sheltered harbor of this charming Venetian-influenced town, just 20 km south of Dubrovnik and a quick hop from the international airport. Note that all buoys in the anchorage area are private, so you'll need to anchor freely — depths are workable but check your swinging room. Once you're set, the old town waterfront is right there, lined with restaurants, the Račić Mausoleum, and the birthplace of Renaissance painter Vlaho Bukovac worth exploring.
