Road Bay is Anguilla's main commercial and cruising harbour, sitting on the island's southwest coast with a laid-back Sandy Ground village right on its doorstep. You can anchor off in calm, sheltered waters and easily dinghy ashore to hit the local bars and restaurants lining the beach. The mix of working fishing boats and passing yachts gives it an authentic, unhurried Caribbean feel that's hard to find elsewhere on the island.
