Anse d'Arlet

Drop anchor off one of Martinique's most photogenic villages, where a candy-colored church sits right at the water's edge and local fishermen haul their catches in daily. The snorkeling around the bay is excellent, with healthy coral and reef fish close to shore, and the village itself is compact enough to dinghy in and explore on foot in an afternoon. It's the kind of place that makes you want to stay an extra night.
