Antipaxos Anchorage

Drop anchor off Antipaxos, the tiny sister island to Paxos, and you'll find yourself surrounded by some of the most impossibly turquoise water in the Ionian. The holding is generally good over sandy seabed, and the setting is quietly spectacular — think vine-covered hills rolling down to near-deserted white-pebble coves. It's a short row or swim ashore to explore the beaches and sample the island's own wine, produced from its small but celebrated vineyards.
