Ardrishaig sits at the southern entrance to the historic Crinan Canal on the sheltered waters of Loch Gilp, making it a fascinating place to drop anchor and take in the scene. There's a real working-village feel here, with the canal locks and passing boats adding constant movement to the backdrop. The village itself is just a short row ashore, where you'll find Lochgilphead close by for supplies and a look around.
