Athol Bay

Athol Bay is a secluded harbour gem tucked into Mosman, where you can drop anchor on a sandy bottom in under 10 metres and swim ashore to a beach most Sydneysiders don't even know exists. The bay faces west, so you get stunning views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and city skyline, plus solid protection from the summer north-easterly. Access to the beach is either by water or a bush track, which keeps the crowds away and the vibe quietly special.
