Bayahibe beach

This low-key fishing village marina sits right on the edge of Bayahibe, a small southern Dominican town that still runs on its own pace — not the resort crowd's. The water here is famously vivid turquoise, and while the port is compact with no formal jetty, it puts you within easy reach of Parque Nacional del Este and the snorkeling around Isla Saona. Buses drop you just steps away, and you're about 20 minutes from La Romana or an hour from Punta Cana.
