Berkeley Marina

Tucked into the east side of San Francisco Bay, Berkeley Marina sits right at the end of University Avenue and gives you sweeping views of the Bay Bridge, Golden Gate, and Marin headlands that are hard to beat. You can get out on the water for kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, windsurfing, or open-water swimming, and the surrounding parkland has solid hiking trails and playgrounds if you want to stretch your legs on shore. The on-site restaurants make it easy to grab a meal while soaking in the waterfront scene, and sport fishing is a popular draw too.
