Birkholm Havn

Birkholm Havn is a tiny municipal port serving one of Denmark's smallest inhabited islands, home to just a handful of permanent residents — which makes pulling in here feel genuinely remote and special. The island has no cars and no shops, so come well provisioned, but the reward is an almost impossibly quiet slice of the Danish archipelago with flat walking paths and wildlife-rich surroundings.
