Cala delle Caldane
Cala delle Caldane is a small, unspoiled cove on the southern side of Giglio Island where you drop anchor and swim straight off the boat into some of the clearest water on the island. It's only reachable by sea or on foot via a scenic coastal path from Giglio Porto (about 40 minutes walking), which keeps the crowds down — though you'll still want to arrive early in peak summer. The rocky shoreline and lack of development give it a genuinely wild feel that's hard to find on busier Mediterranean islands.
