Cala di Fosso

Cala di Fosso is a tucked-away bay in the La Maddalena Archipelago, framed by the smooth granite outcrops and wind-sculpted macchia that define this corner of northeast Sardinia. The water runs impossibly clear, shifting from pale turquoise at the edges to deep blue toward the center — typical of the protected national park waters that surround La Maddalena. It's a quieter spot compared to the archipelago's more famous beaches, so you get the scenery without the crowds.
