Cala Francese

Cala Francese is a quietly spectacular little bay at Capo Testa, tucked into Sardinia's wildly sculpted granite coastline. The water here is calm and sheltered from the wind, making it a genuine spot to slow down — and the star feature is a hammock-shaped granite rock that frames the beach in a way you won't see anywhere else. Getting here involves a hike, but the trails through Gallura's macchia scrubland are worth it in themselves.
