Cala Girgolu

Cala Girgolu is a tucked-away anchorage on San Teodoro's northeast coast, sitting in the locality of Vaccilleddi where granite headlands frame a clear, sheltered bay typical of this rugged Gallura coastline. You drop the hook off a stretch of unspoiled Sardinian shore with the kind of translucent water that makes the bottom look closer than it is. It's quiet and unhurried here, well away from the busier spots to the south, with the cork oak and maquis-covered hills rolling back from the coast.
