Cala Varques is a secluded, unspoiled sandy beach tucked between two rocky headlands on Mallorca's east coast, about 12 km south of Porto Cristo — you anchor off and make your way ashore. The bay stretches around 90 metres of sand and the water is clear and calm enough for a good swim. It's genuinely off the beaten track, with just a small drinks stand on the beach and nothing else, so bring what you need.
