Chatham Bay
✨ Hidden gem
Chatham Bay is the anchorage on Union Island — a long, sweeping arc of palm-fringed sand on the island's west coast, well away from the bustle of Clifton. Drop the hook in good holding sand at the north end in around 5 metres; expect some gusty winds that'll have you swinging around, but the swell stays out. You'll need a cruising permit (budget $5–10 USD), and the payoff is one of the most unspoiled, remote anchorages in the southern Grenadines.
