Dénia Anchorage

Drop anchor off the coast of Dénia, a lively Spanish town backed by an impressive castle-topped headland on the Costa Blanca. The seabed is mostly sand close to the wall, giving reasonable holding, though seagrass dominates much of the area so pick your spot carefully and check your anchor is set. From the hook, the old town, beaches, and a string of restaurants are all within easy reach by dinghy or a short swim ashore.
