Drum Point Beach

Drum Point Beach is a scenic anchorage at the southern tip of Solomons Island, where the Patuxent River meets the Chesapeake Bay. You drop the hook off a sandy beach with a real sense of being at a crossroads of the bay, with wide open views in multiple directions. Just a short dinghy ride away is the Calvert Marine Museum, home to the iconic screwpile Drum Point Lighthouse, which you can tour with paid museum admission.
