Finnøy

Finnøy is a 25-square-kilometre island sitting on the southern edge of Boknafjorden, about 20 kilometres northeast of Stavanger, right in the heart of the Ryfylke archipelago. You anchor off here surrounded by an island district that spans over 100 square kilometres across 16 inhabited islands — it's a genuinely scenic slice of inland Norway's fjord country. The island itself is the most populated in the area and serves as the hub of what was once its own municipality before merging into Stavanger kommune.
