Gidaki Beach

Gidaki is one of Ithaca's most rewarding beaches, reachable only by boat or a steep hike — so it stays refreshingly uncrowded. The pebbles shift from larger stones on the west side to finer gravel and sand toward the east, and the water is a striking emerald-clear. Drop anchor and enjoy the crystal-green bay; there's a beach bar on shore if you want a drink after your swim.
