Île Fourchue Anchorage

Île Fourchue is an uninhabited rocky island just northwest of St. Barths, with four jagged peaks giving it a wild, almost prehistoric look — and from the top of any one of them you can see St. Martin, Saba, and St. Eustatius all at once. Drop anchor on the buoys closest to shore and you're well sheltered from the east wind and swell, with turtles and colorful fish hanging around beneath the hull. It's the kind of place that feels genuinely remote, even though St. Barths is only a short sail away.
