Inverie Bay

Drop anchor in Inverie Bay, a sheltered spot on the north shore of Loch Nevis deep in the remote Knoydart peninsula, about 6 miles east of Mallaig. It's one of those places that feels genuinely off-grid — Knoydart is roadless, so arriving by water is pretty much the only way in. Once you're anchored up, The Old Forge pub is a short row ashore and well worth it; it's famously one of the most remote pubs in mainland Britain.
