James Island Anchorage

James Island sits in the waters east of Decatur Island and offers four mooring balls alongside anchoring options in a rugged, forested setting. Ashore, you'll find 13 campsites, vault toilets, and a 1.5-mile trail that loops through the island's wooded interior. It's a state park, so the land is protected and quiet — a solid overnight stop if you want something more remote than the busier San Juan hubs.
