Jamestown Harbour

Jamestown Harbour is the main port of entry for one of the most remote inhabited islands on Earth, tucked into the steep cliffs of Saint Helena in the South Atlantic. You'll arrive after days at sea with no other landfall in sight — the island sits roughly 1,200 miles from the nearest continent. The harbour handles everything from the RMS St Helena's historic supply runs to the occasional yacht making a transatlantic passage, with the dramatic, fortress-flanked valley of Jamestown rising directly from the waterfront. It's a working harbour first, so expect a raw, utilitarian atmosphere rather than polished marina amenities.
