What sets it apart is the dense fringe of sweetly scented storax trees (günlük) lining the shore — a rare and striking sight that gives the bay a wild, almost otherworldly atmosphere. You drop anchor off a double-forked inlet where the sea splits and pushes deep into the land, creating two sheltered pockets of calm water.
