Karragarra Island

Karragarra Island — or 'Karra' as locals call it — is the smallest of the four inhabited Moreton Bay islands, tucked snugly between Russell and Macleay Islands southeast of Brisbane. You anchor off here and take a dinghy ashore to explore a quiet, unhurried island community that feels a world away from the mainland. It's a great base for hopping between the bay islands, with Russell and Macleay both a short ride away.
