Kleftiko Anchorage

Kleftiko sits on the southwestern tip of Milos and is genuinely one of the most dramatic anchorages in the Aegean — a labyrinth of towering white volcanic rock formations, sea caves, and crystal-clear water that you can swim and snorkel straight from the hook. The site is extremely popular, so expect company, especially in peak season, and plan to arrive early to secure a good spot. Legend has it pirates once used these caves as a hideout, and once you see the place, you'll understand why.
