Lille Okseø
Lille Okseø is a tiny 4-hectare island in Flensborg Fjord, about 8 km north of Flensburg, where you anchor off and take in the quiet surroundings. The island is owned by a Copenhagen teachers' association and has a small colony on it, so it's a lived-in but intimate spot rather than a wild escape. Historically rich waters too — Queen Margrethe I died of plague on a ship in nearby Flensburg Harbour back in 1412.
