Man o'War Bay

✨ Hidden gem

One of Waiheke's best-known anchorages, Man O' War Bay offers a super-sized, beautiful sandy beach backed by rolling vineyard land. Drop the hook here and you're a short walk from the Man O' War winery, where you can grab a bite and taste some seriously good wine. Note that the holding is silty and can take a few tries to set properly, so give your anchor time to dig in — and be aware the beach gets very tidal, though swimming is great when the water's up.
