Marina d'Elbo
Marina d'Elbo is a remote anchorage tucked into the wild western coast of Corsica, right on the doorstep of the Scandola Nature Reserve — a UNESCO World Heritage site you can explore by kayak or on foot. You drop the hook off a rugged shoreline of red volcanic rock, with the tiny hamlet of Osani clinging to the hillside above and almost no development in sight. It's about as far from the crowds as you can get on this island.
