Megas Lakos
Megas Lakos is a long, sandy beach on the Paliki peninsula of Kefalonia where you drop anchor just offshore and swim in. The entry into the water is gentle and the beach is spacious, making it one of the more relaxed anchorages on this quieter, less-touristed side of the island. The main town of Lixouri lies just a short distance to the northwest if you need to stretch your legs or grab supplies.
