Millport Bay

You anchor off the southern shore of Great Cumbrae, a small island in the Firth of Clyde with a wonderfully unhurried atmosphere. Millport town is right there on the waterfront — a Victorian seaside settlement with cafes, a pub, and even the Cathedral of the Isles, famously one of the smallest cathedrals in Britain. The bay itself is sheltered and scenic, framed by Marine Parade to the east and Knox's Port pier to the west, with the Ayrshire coast visible across the water.
