Órmos Platygiáli

Órmos Platygiáli is a sheltered bay on Meganisi's northwest coast, tucked just below the hilltop village of Spartochori, which is well worth the short climb for its traditional tavernas and sweeping views over the Ionian. You'll find good holding in sandy bottom and reasonable protection, making it a solid spot to drop the hook and soak up that unhurried Greek island pace that Meganisi does so well. The island's compact size means you're never far from another gorgeous cove to explore by dinghy.
