Paterhamnen
Paterhamnen is a natural anchorage tucked beneath the distinctive rock formation known as Kupan (the Cup) on Marö island, in the outer reaches of the Söderköping archipelago. You anchor off here in a sheltered inlet — locally called Kupkrok — with steep forested cliffs rising around you and very little else but the sounds of the Baltic. It's a raw, quiet spot well known among those cruising this stretch of the Swedish east coast.
